The Texas woman who survived the James Arthur Ray sweat lodge experience and spoke to CNN correspondent Gary Tuchman by phone on Tuesday night made her television news debut this morning on The Early Show on CBS.

Orthodontist Beverley Bunn, gave host Harry Smith a horrifying image of the things she saw on the afternoon of October 8th near Sedona, Arizona.

Bunn called the scene within the sweat tent a “triage situation” and claims she was kept from helping those who needed it.

sweatlodgephoto“There were many people lying around who were not conscious. I saw people with mucous coming out of their nose…mucous coming out of their mouth. I saw their eyes rolled backin their head,” she said.

Bunn broke down repeatedly during the six-minute interview, and said she felt completely abandoned by James Ray.

Bunn said the group wasn’t told about the two deaths that day (a third died several days later) until 11 p.m.

Ray left Arizona for California soon after that.

Notice in the video how short Bunn’s hair is.  There’s a reason for that.

“Richard,” a survivor of the sweat lodge who spoke exclusively to Rumor Rat told us that “Most of us shaved our heads to release ourselves from our attachment to our looks & other people’s opinions,” explained Richard.  ” A few of the women did not shave their heads but opted to cut their hair.”
