Sarah Palin’s rumored $11 million book deal is starting to look like chump change next to an agreement just hammered out by the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson.
Fergie, it seems, has sold the TV and merchandising rights to her best-selling kids’ books Tea For Ruby and Little Red for a reported $28 million.
And it comes just in the nick of time. Earlier this month, Fergie was rumored to be on the brink of bankruptcy. She even had to scale down her 50th birthday party due to mounting money woes.
The long-term plan is to turn the two books into cartoon series in Canada and the US.
