Now that Wal-Mart has run every other local retailer out of your Middle America town, they’re taking aim at the last bastion of small businesses: your funeral director.
The retail giant is now selling caskets. Fortunately – for now at least – the ‘Mart is only making them available online, so at least you don’t have to wade through a bunch of coffins to get to this week’s new DVD releases.
Prices range from $999 for the Lady de Guadalupe 18-guage steel version, to $3,199 for the Sienna bronze model… and they’re shipped by Federal Express.
