Lady GaGa is accustomed to being worshiped by queens, but someone should let her Ladyship know that meeting the Queen of England is something entirely different.
God knows Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth probably has no idea what she’s in for next month when she’ll meet the GaGaddess for the first time.
That’s when the Royal household hosts the annual Royal Variety Performance.
Past performers have included more traditional fare, like Nat King Cole and Cliff Richard. But this year, someone at Buckingham Palace apparently has a sense of humor, because Lady GaGa’s been invited to take part.
The Royal Variety Performance is a well-known charitable event which the Queen and her family all support.
We’re told that each year the monarch personally meets all the stars involved.
