Rumor Rat Exclusive: CSI Star Laurence Fishburne’s Ego Trip

January 7, 2010 at 5:10 pm

The honeymoon is over for Laurence Fishburn and the crew of long-running TV hit CSI.

When Fishburne first came aboard the show in late 2008, sources tell Rumor Rat, he was always friendly to the people who help put the show on the air.

But since William Peterson left the cast in January of last year, that’s all changed and Fishburne’s become an ego-driven diva.

A CSI crew member tells The Big Cheese that the star now insists on a closed set anytime he’s shooting a scene.

Not only that, but at the production’s Christmas party, he refused to have his picture taken with any crew members.

The Rat thinks Larry should take a look at the season-to-date ratings of his show before he starts playing Mr. High & Mighty.

Since the September season premiere, the show’s averaging 15.7 million viewers per episode.

That’s down from 19 million in the 2008-09 season, when William Peterson was still on board.  Not good.

since he has been on the show, it lost it’s spark.
I hope this means it will be cancelled or William Petersen is back….
