After Gonzo Guru James Ray’s top legal eagle took his case to Larry King and George Stephanopoulos last week, prosecutors in the case are promptly putting their collective foot down, and demanding a gag order from the judge in the case.
Yavapai (Arizona) County Attorney Sheila Polk told the judge a gag order would protect the case from getting too much pre-trial publicity, therefore polluting the jury pool.
Polk wants the order to include more than just James Ray’s attorneys. If her request is granted, it would successfully zip the lips of his employees.
Ray’s attorneys say they’ll file a formal response to the request later this week.
