I tried to post the following comment in the “CSI’s Jorja Fox — Is She, or Isn’t She?” thread, and it never showed up. Could you please post it for me, or please let me know why you won’t let it be shown on the website? Thanks!

Thank you Rumor Rat for telling it like it is. No pussyfooting around from you. Neither Jorja Fox’s sexual orientation nor her relationship with Lelah Foster comes as a surprise to anyone that has followed her career.

Lelah worked as Jorja’s stand-in on CSI for a few years. They supposedly were friends for a few years before they began dating in 2006. Lelah also had a small role in the CSI episode, “Weeping Willows”. She had a hard time finding acting roles in Hollywood as referenced in this article from 2005, before she started dating Jorja:

Finally acknowledging to herself that no one wanted her for any roles, she now fancies herself a photographer. The only problem is the only people that will “hire” her are a couple of friends of hers that have blogs:

Jorja was very “out” when she lived in New York City in the late 80s/early 90s. She bartended at the now-closed lesbian hotspot, “Crazy Nanny’s” and was an enthusiastic member of their all-girl softball team. Lots of good gossip from this era of her life.

Jorja’s partner from the mid-90s until 2002 was another failed actress, Suzanne Mara Hesseloff. Like Lelah, Suzanne never got much work with the exception of a couple of small-budget lesbian films. Why, Lelah & Suzanne even both starred in one called, “The Ten Rules”. Small world! Here’s a link to a scene featuring both of them. Suzanne realized she’d never be a star, so she is now a marriage and family therapist working in Los Angeles. The breakup was apparently pretty harmonious, with Suzanne getting the house and Jorja getting the dog (Ali Hessel Fox).

From 2004 until 2005, Jorja dated an actress named Sami Reed. Sami had a small role in the CSI episode, “XX”. A photo from the episode can be seen here:

The most recent (and extremely unflattering) photo I could find of the two of them is from March. Lelah’s half-brother and his girlfriend visited them on their spring break from college. They stayed at both their home in Los Angeles and also their beach home in San Clemente. They spent their days lounging in their pool, seeing the sights, and playing with Jorja’s dog, Ali and Lelah’s dog, Chuy. Here’s a shot of the group at brunch:

Lelah’s weight gain makes her double chin look like a triple chin. Jorja can do better. Some advice to Lelah, put down the Krispy Kremes and strop riding coattails!
